The Division 2 Title Update 3 (TU3) is getting a worldwide release on 14 May 2019 and while not everyone likes balance changes, everyone is looking forward to the Dark Hours raid out. Well, there is a plot twist - the raid is not here.
Ubisoft had already taken servers down for maintenance at the time of writing, as announced on their forum post . Operation Dark Hours is probably the highlight of the update that everyone is waiting for but they will have to wait a bit longer since the raid will not be here from get-go.
TU3 deployment should wrap up on 14 May 2019 at 12:30 PM CEST / 06:30 AM EDT / 03:30 AM PDT but Dark Hours will "follow shortly after" so don't get spooked if you load up the new client and the raid is not there.
Ubisoft did not specify when exactly they will enable the raid but the news will come first across their social channels and Twitter is most likely to get the news first. You can check Ubisoft , Massive Entertainment or The Division 2 Twitter accounts for the first-hand updates.
Given that loot and recalibration underwent some changes in TU3, it is probably for the best that the players still don't have access to some of the most challenging content in the game.
Recalibration will no longer boost the gear score of items but fledging out proper builds at 500 gear score should be much easier now as well as the road to the venerated gear score cap.
Loot in Dark Zone will no longer drop below the average gear score of the player. Therefore, if players are at 480 GS, they will be guaranteed to get 480 or higher GS drops.
When players reach the gear score cap, which remained 500, Dark Zone drops will always be 500 but this will extend to solely PvE content as well. Priority Hard and Challenging missions, Alert Level 4 Control Points as well as any Heroic bosses will always drop 500 GS items provided a player's average GS is also 500.
While it's not guaranteed players will not get items below their GS in PvE, loot has been rebalanced to reduce the chances of that happening. You can check the full patch notes on the State of the Game recap from a week ago.
