As Arcane Season 2 pushes onward into Act 2, Riot Games is introducing a completely fresh release to Teamfight Tactics: Chibi Arcane Survivor Jayce.
Arcane is a Netflix anime series set in the League of Legends universe that Riot first teased back in 2019 to celebrate the MOBA's 10-year anniversary.
Set within the cities of Piltover and Zaun, Arcane brings to life some of the game's most iconic champions, including Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Heimerdinger, Warwick and Viktor. The show has been widely popular since its release in 2021, sporting a perfect critics' score with 95% audience approval on Rotten Tomatoes.
Arcane's release saw a number of in-game promotions cross all Riot titles, including the release of Silco into TFT. Since then, Riot has continued the game's tradition of regularly introducing new tacticians and chibis, having after the release of Arcane-themed chibis of Jinx, Vi, and Ekko in Season 1, Riot presents the Chibi Arcane Survivor Jayce modeled after a new League of Legends skin.
For now, it has been confirmed that this chibi is going to appear in the Chinese version of TFT, Fight for the Golden Spatula, and will release come November 22, 2024.
However, its global version release date is yet to be declared, and many fans would be loving to see it ship out to a worldwide audience.
Like other high-end chibi skins, Chibi Arcane Survivor Jayce will be available only through TFT's loot-based gacha system. While it takes a bit of luck, the players are highly excited about this visually stunning addition to the game.
Stay tuned for updates on the global release of this exciting Arcane-themed skin!
