The ambitious survival game Soulmask entered the early access program a few days ago and attracted tens of thousands of players who already have over 500 hours of gameplay in front of them.
Already with the announcement of Solmask, the CampFire Studios team stirred up the spirits among survival fans who yearn for new gameplay elements in this currently most popular genre.
Soulmask is a game that takes the players to the rainforest where they will slowly collect resources, study technologies, make weapons and build entire settlements, while the special feature is the use of a mask. More precisely, each mask gives you certain bonuses that will facilitate your further progress.
All of them have in common the ability to take over the bodies of the subjects, which will be extremely useful. In addition, while in most survival games all the burden of collecting resources and their processing falls on the backs of the player, in Soulmask, through a rather complex system, it is possible to assign tasks to villagers who will do them for the players even when they are not present in the game.
In the last three days that Soulmask has been in early access, players have expressed quite positive opinions about it, which is also visible in the sales results, considering that they are around the middle of the top ten currently sold on Steam, while the servers recorded a peak of almost 40 thousand players simultaneously.
Finally, we would like to point out that the price of the game has been reduced by a promotional ten percent until June 6 and amounts to 26.99 euros, which, given over 500 hours of content, is a very profitable investment for everyone who prefers this type of gameplay.
According to the plan, Soulmask will spend at least a year in early access, during which, according to the authors, it will be perfected and upgraded with a series of free upgrades.
