Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady have reportedly delayed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League from May to Q4 2023.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is no longer releasing this May, according to the report from Bloomberg . Warner Bros. Games and developer Rocksteady Studios have moved their release out of the crowded release window to late 2024, to avoid heavy hitters like Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 16 .
"Warner Bros. has again delayed a video game based on the Suicide Squad comic book franchise, pushing it from a May release date to later this year, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter" it's written in the report.
Rocksteady Studios will take the additional time to optimise and polish the game, which was not received well by the players a couple of weeks ago when the first gameplay was shown at the PlayStation State of Play.
We doubt Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will receive any substantial gameplay changes since the game is pretty much done so don't get your hopes up that it's suddenly going to be something different.
While the gameplay that was revealed wasn't really perfect and original, it's fair to give the game a chance once it comes out before making any conclusions.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was initially announced for release in 2021 but shortly after that, Rocksteady said the new release date would be 2022. In February 2022, it was announced that the game will launch in 2023. Hopefully, this will be the last delay.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is officially confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5 , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S . The official release date is currently May 26, 2023.
