Ever since I've played the Europa demo on Steam, I was excited to see more of this stunning adventure from developer Helder. Europa is unlike anything I've played on PC before, featuring a unique art style, soothing soundtrack and surprisingly fun gameplay loop that consists of platforming and exploring the vibrant open world.
It came as a welcomed surprise, a different kind of experience just when I was starting to get burned out of big AAA releases so please you can understand my overly excited attitude here.
This little gem had a confirmed release window of 2024 but today, the developer announced when exactly will Europa arrive on Steam. The date is set for early 2024, more precisely, April 16.
The game is only coming to PC which is unfortunate for players on consoles, but we're hopeful that the port for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and potentially Switch will also be coming in the near future as the developer already confirmed they will be sharing more info on other platforms very soon.
If Europe looks good enough to you, feel free to visit the game's Steam page and the official website for more details, screenshots and trailers. And of course, you can still play the demo on Steam. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
