Popular Fortnite streamer Ninja has used some pretty strong words to describe Call of Duty players who are hyped to play Modern Warfare 3.

Streamer Ninja has slammed Call of Duty fans for falling for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 hype machine, calling them "mentally abused" and "disgusting".

In a controversial clip that was taken from Ninja's latest stream, the streamer said that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will launch with many bugs and cheaters and that it will take Activision months to fix a single issue.

"But guess what, the gunplay is still gonna be good, and people will be jizzing over the mobility that you disgusting, mentally abused, like players are gonna fall for it," Ninja said in his stream.

Obviously, the reactions on social media platforms are quite polarising. While some agree with Ninja, stating that Call of Duty players do indeed always fall for the same hype marketing cycle every single year, others criticise him for using such sensitive language in describing Call of Duty gamers.

Some think it's all a stunt to stay relevant as Ninja's career in streaming is now a far cry from his peak popularity a couple of years ago.

At one point in 2018, Ninja was the world's biggest streamer across all platforms, breaking records and signing massive contracts including the one with Microsoft's now-dead platform Mixer.

Since then, though, Ninja has seen a steady decline in subscription numbers and views and at the moment, his streams regularly attract around 10,000 viewers.

Whether these comments are Ninja's attempt to boost his views or simply his honest opinion, we'll never know. But one thing is for certain, for someone as popular as Ninja, it's a very bad look.
