Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is finally here and it looks like critics are absolutely loving Respawn's action-adventure. The game currently stands at 84 out of 100 on Metacritic with more than 20 reviews.
Respawn Entertainment hit the nail in the head with their latest title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order according to various gaming critics. SIngleplayer action game is praised for its fantastic gameplay, word design and combat but it isn't without its flaws.
However, the majority of critics agree that even though Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order borrows a lot of elements from other action games, ultimately, it manages to make them work within its world and environment.
At the time of writing, the average score for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Metacritic is 84 out of 100 for the PlayStation 4 version. The highest score comes from IGN's Brian Shea, who enjoyed the challenging combat and all-around amazing game.
"A strong cast sells a dark story while keeping things fun and loyal to Star Wars lore, and fast, challenging combat mixes with energetic platforming, decent puzzles, and diverse locations to explore for an all-around amazing game," Shea wrote in his review.
Another big review comes from GameInformer's Andrew Reiner who gave Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 8.75 out of 10. He claims that the game could use a little polish since there are some technical issues but these don't hold back the game too much as its combat is so good that it makes up for these small flaws. "Swinging the lightsaber feels damn good; it’s fast, powerful, feels dangerous, and delivers big results, like slicing rampaging beasts clean in two," Reiner wrote.
The lowest score comes from USGamer who gave the game 70 out of 100. Once again, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is praised for the brilliant combat "but it ultimately falls short due to pacing problems and a host of technical issues".
