Sony spoke to investors recently and revealed another one of their first-party exclusives is coming to the PC.
Sony's investor presentation contained a particularly interesting slide, which revealed that Uncharted 4 will release on PC. You can find the full presentation on Sony's website and the slide in question is #26.
It appears that the company is fully embracing the strategy to deploy first-party games on PC for two reasons. First, they are trying to increase the returns on their investments. In other words - double-dipping by releasing on two platforms, which is something that's been present in gaming for a long while.
The other reason is to try to increase the fan base by offering the PC player base a glimpse into Sony's first-party titles. This strategy has already worked to a fine extent with Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. Considering Uncharted 4's popularity that is lasting five years after the game's initial release, this seems like the right step for Sony.
Furthermore, the game looked gorgeous on PS4 all those years ago so even if any graphics upgrades are en route, they don't need to be extensive. Overall, the game is sure to be welcomed on PC , looks like a sure bet for Sony and a situation where everyone wins.
There is currently no release date for Uncharted 4 on PC.
