Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew was released with a few issues, just like any other video game in the past 20 years, but these were rather minor in comparison to its peers.
Unfortunately, Mimimi had to make the hard decision of not going forward with future games for the studio but they are polishing one of the tragically underrated gems of 2023.
The latest update added new options for controller users to allow them to have a better overview of the battlefield.
After the update, players will be able to use the camera controls from Desperados 3 and Shadow Tactics by going to Options, Gameplay and then changing the Camera Follow Mode to Standard.
This way, the player can pan the camera with the right stick to see what is going on in the wider area while holding down RT on Xbox controllers or R2 on PlayStation ones will allow you to zoom and rotate with the same stick.
Additionally, you can pin the camera to the currently selected pirate by tapping RT / R2. This is a little different from the previous games where D-pad down served this purpose.
While the camera movement may be the highlight, there is plenty of fixes and alterations that should make the players' lives aboard and around the Red Marley much more convenient.
