Electronic Arts plan to port seven games to Nintendo Switch this year. The games include heavy hitters like Apex Legends, FIFA 21 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, which is in the works.
It looks like EA are ready to port a bunch of their big titles over to Nintendo Switch and also continue with remasters of racing games.
As you may know, earlier this year the publisher confirmed that Burnout Paradise Remastered is coming to Switch along with Apex Legends, Lost in Random and the next iteration of the football simulation - FIFA 21.
On top of this, three more games will arrive to Nintendo's hybrid console. According to VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb, these three titles are Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, which should release sometime next year, an unknown Velan Studios title and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit but in a Remastered version.
These are pretty big news sine EA are yet to officially announce that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is getting an upgrade. Earlier tease suggested that Underground could be next in line for visual overhaul but it looks like Hot Pursuit is EA's priority at the moment.
Of course, until EA officially announce these games for Switch, nothing is for certain and things may change but Jeff Grubb has been a reliable source so this lineup is probably legit. You can check the full report here.
