Sekiro, Outer Wilds, Death Stranding in GOTY list for GDC Awards 2020

Nominees for the 20th annual Game Developers Choice Awards have been revealed across multiple categories, with Game of the Year Nominees being Death Stranding, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Outer Wilds and Untitled Goose Game

In fact, Death Stranding has nailed seven nominations, which is more than any other title. These are for Best Audio, Best Design, the Innovation Award, Best Narrative Game, Best Technology, Best Visual Art and Game of the Year. 

Following closely are two excellent action-adventures - Remedy's Control and Mobius Digital's Outer Wilds. Both have five nominations, meeting up in the same category for Best Narrative and Game of the Year. 

Untitled Goose Game made the nominee list for GOTY, as well as Best Audio, Best Design and Innovation categories. At the same time, this is a testament to how universal feelings, like hatred of geese, can bring people together. Just kidding, we love that goose. 

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has two nominations, Best Audio and Best Technology, while its mobile counterpart made the list for Best Mobile Game.

GDC Awards 2020 is scheduled for 18 March at the San Francisco Moscone Center. The full list of nominees is as follows:
