Rockstar have released another weekly update for Red Dead Online and once again, a brand new Showdown mode is added to the game. Called Plunder, the new mode sets two teams against each other while they capture supplies from the map centre.
Another week, another update to Red Dead Online's PvP mode named Showdown Series has been introduced. This time, Rockstar have added Plunder mode, which, as the name suggests, requires capturing more supplies than the opposition team.
In Plunder mode, frontier resources are in short supply and you and your team will have to fight through enemy team to capture supplies from a central location and deliver it to your team's base.
In addition to capturing loot from the central location on the map, you will be able to use cunning to steal the supplies from your opponent's base. However, to make things a bit more spicy and interesting, when holding you'll be visible to all other players.
Rockstar recommend that you keep your Health, Stamina and Dead Eye cores filled and use various tonics to boost your tanks to gold before you make a run for packages. You'll also get to take advantage of team-based Dead Eye Ability cards like Focus Fire that lets your teammates cause a little more damage while your Dead Eye is active.
On top of that, Rockstar once again added a fresh batch of clothing items to Wheeler, Rawson and Co. catalogue. You can check the items below.
- Owanjila Hat
- Porter Jacket
- Concho Pants
And last but not least, new bonuses have been added that unlock access for all coats, holsters, boots and gloves up to Rank 40 to all players. This is a limited-time bonus and the items will be available until 15 April 2019, so you better act quickly if some of these clothing items are on your must-have list.
For higher ranking players, the Turkoman, Missouri Fox Trotter and Arabian Horses are being lowered to Rank 40, while Volatile Dynamite, Incendiary Buckshot, Explosive Slug, Express Explosive and Dynamite Arrow pamphlets are now lowered to Rank 60.
