Several Red Dead Online screenshots showcasing Halloween-themed costumes and items have been found in the game files, suggesting a major Halloween update is coming later this year.
Rockstar Games are planning to release new content for the online version of Red Dead Redemption 2 - Red Dead Online - as officially announced last week. As we wait for the reveal of this new content, a bunch of new screenshots and artworks have been found in the game files, showcasing several Halloween-themed items, costumes and locations.
Courtesy of Rockstar Actu Twitter, the images suggest that a new Outlaw Pass is coming after October 19, 2020, with a machete and a special Halloween theme in the distillery bar among other additions.
Since Halloween is still a couple of months away, it will be a long wait for the official confirmation from Rockstar. However, the images look totally legit so it is safe to say that this update will be coming this Halloween.
It appears that the Halloween event will be named Season of The Strange and Supernatural if the title on the artwork is legit.
All in all, the new content looks great and we cannot wait to see what else Rockstar have been working on in the past months. Recently, they released a new Frontier Pursuit that will introduce players to the secrets of naturalism as part of an all-new Role, plus a new Outlaw Pass, tons of community-requested features and fixes and other changes.
