A brand new gameplay trailer of the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive Returnal has been released, showcasing the game's gorgeous but spooky new locations.
Housemarque's sci-fi action-adventure is just around the corner and today, the devs have decided to give us a closer look at Atropos, a gorgeous but spooky world that you'll get to explore in about two months or so.
The trailer showcases various locations, from old civilisation ruins to whole underground cities. The art style certainly looks impressive and we cannot wait to experience it for ourselves. As we already mentioned, the trailers gives off a pretty spooky vibe, which is not something that we expected.
Some of these locations turn Returnal into a horror-like game and no, we're definitely not complaining about that.
Additionally, it looks like some of these locations will change as you progress throughout the game. In one scene, we get to see snowy ruins which suddenly change to something different, covered in snow and mist. We saw something similar in The Medium, and it blew us away, hopefully, Returnal does the same.
Returnal is officially hitting the shelves on April 30, 2021, for PlayStation 5. The game is exclusive for the platform and won't be coming to PC and Xbox, at least not at this time. You can find more details about the game on the official PlayStation store page.
