Titanfall 2 came under another attack by hackers and there were concerns about the security of anyone playing the game, after which Respawn issued a statement, somewhat reassuring the fans.
Respawn Entertainment have their hands full with people who have nothing better to do than bully random players over the world who are trying to enjoy Titanfall 2 . They recently found another security exploit, which was supposedly able to hurt players' systems or possible collect their information .
The developers quickly acknowledged they are aware of a security vulnerability affecting the game and had no other info to share at the time. A few hours later, they updated their post, stating that their engineers believe it's a simple exploit to crash games but they do not believe the exploit could cause any more serious risks to affected players or their machines.
Overall, it's possible whoever hacked the game in the first place may not be able to execute code locally but Respawn didn't officially confirm it just yet. Just like we mentioned previously, it might be wise to not run the game for a few hours more until a proper announcement comes from the devs, stating that it's all clear and you can go ahead and enjoy one of the best and criminally underrated shooters to ever exist.
