Resident Evil 3 Remake has been officially unveiled during PlayStation State of Play. The game is coming on 04 April 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The leaks were true! Resident Evil 3 is in the works and it's coming sooner than you may expect. Today, during the Sony PlayStation State of Play live stream, Capcom have officially announced their new survival horror with a reveal trailer that also gave us the release date.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is hitting the shelves on 03 April 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also include the co-op title Project Resistance, which is a pretty neat touch from Capcom.
Unfortunately, the details about the game are pretty scarce at the moment but judging by the trailer, Resident Evil 3 Remake could offer a first-person perspective along with the standard over the shoulder view. The trailer did not show any gameplay sadly, but some of the segments were shown from the first-person viewpoint, which may suggest a big change from the original title.
One of the series' most iconic character - Jill - can be seen running from the antagonist Nemesis, who is more intelligent and even more vicious than Tyrant himself. Nemesis can arm itself with weapons, like the iconic rocket launcher, or simply crush whatever stands between it and its mission.
To make things worse, the building is burning to the ground as Jill tries to avoid Nemesis and find safety. It is a pretty tense trailer and hopefully, the gameplay won't be any different.
More information about Resident Evil 3 is expected in the near future, as we get closer to the release date.
