Remnant: From the Ashes has had a good run and the final DLC is coming soon. Gunfire Games now revealed its price along with that of the complete edition that includes all the content packs.
Subject 2923, the final and apparently the largest DLC for Remnant: From the Ashes, will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 20, 2020, at the price of $9.99.
The players will get to wade around the Ward Prime, which is one of the DLC's two unique zones. The name of the DLC refers to the similarly named campaign that will conclude the story of the game.
Players will get to wade around Ward Prime which is a military installation where the army took the alien substance they found in the 1960s. Following the delivery of these runes, they were deciphered and the army figured out how to create the Dreamers, who were humans bonded with entities from other worlds. As a result, they could open portals to other worlds.
It is these Dreamers that the players will be looking for in order to figure out their connection to the Root which has turned Earth into a wasteland for humans and playground for weird creatures looking to exterminate said humans.
There are hints that World Walkers are going to end the Root "once and for all" but this has not been explicitly confirmed. In other words, brace yourselves for a possible cliffhanger.
In case the story of the DLC sounds intriguing but confusing, you might be looking to get into the game from scratch and complete all the stories available. In that case, the complete edition will launch at the same time as the DLC and will set you back $49.99.
