Sony and Insomniac Games have released another gorgeous looking trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The team also confirmed the State of Play focused solely on the game is coming in just three days.
The latest trailer for Insomniac Games' upcoming adventure Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart showcases some spectacular combat, gorgeous-looking levels and the new character Rivet. Insomniac games explain that Rivet is a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension, where the evil Emperor Nefarious hunts all those who oppose him.
You get to see some of these dimensions and brand-new locations like Nefarious City in the trailer, which you can check out above.
We really really cannot emphasize this enough - the trailer looks stupendously good - it's basically a Pixar film at this point and Insomniac Games can be proud of their work, at least in terms of visuals since we'll have to wait a couple of months to see if the gameplay and other elements follow closely.

Anyway, if you are interested in more Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart gameplay, make sure to tune in to the PlayStation State of Play live stream, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 29 at 2 pm Pacific / 5 pm Eastern. Insomniac Plan to showcase 15 minutes of fresh gameplay.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is currently in development exclusively for PlayStation 5. The release date has been set for June 11, 2021.
