In today's update, Ubisoft have finally introduce the long-awaited rework for Rainbow Six Siege's weakest operator Lord Tachanka. The rework brings changes to Tachanka's loadout and a new gadget among other things.

Today, Ubisoft released an update for their mega-popular tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, which introduces highly-anticipated rework for Tachanka Operator. The update is now available on all platforms, following its test phase on PC.

Ubisoft say Lord Tachanka has been deeply reworked for competitive play, with new mobility and new gameplay opportunities, thanks to changes in his loadout and a new gadget. Additionally, the publisher added a brand new Elite skin "Slava Korolyu".

As you may know, Tachanka was formerly static but now, he carries his DP27 LMG as a primary weapon for more mobility, with a massive destruction ability to walls. He is also now equipped with a Shumikha launcher, firing incendiary grenades to deny entry or zones while damaging enemies in the area. Ubisoft also explain they removed the withstand ability, originally available on the Test Server.

With this update, Lord Tachanka has now become one of the best Operators in the game, which is, of course, a huge difference to the original, static design.
