Rainbow Six Siege limited-time event named The Grand Larceny is now live on all platforms. This unique event brings a historic makeover to the old version of Hereford map The Stolen Goods and a brand new game mode among other things. The event will last two weeks from today, 05 May until 19 May 2020.
The new game mode is a 5v5, inspired by the British mobs of the 1920s. Ubisoft have unlocked most operators to play during the event with a few expectations due to specific gameplay. Glaz, Nomad, Buck, Montagne, Blitz, Caveira, Kali, Clash, Blackbeard, Lion, IQ, Tachnaka, Recruit, Twitch and Mozzie will not be available in the event.
Operators will only have shotguns equipped while The Stolen Goods mode will not have hostages, no areas to secure and no bombs to defuse. On top of this, the preparation phase is removed and the attackers won't have access to drones.
Safeboxes are the objectives and will be spread throughout the map. Defenders must protect these at all costs while the attackers must open a certain amount of Safeboxes or eliminate all the defenders to win the round.
The Grand Larceny will also bring 31 items, including exclusive customisation for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai, and Warden.
