Another Rainbow Six leak happened recently and it appears to be from a tester who provided some rather interesting information about the upcoming co-op spin-off, Parasite.

Rainbow Six Parasite doesn't have a release date yet but the testing phase is certainly going on. Normally, the testers tend to respect the NDA but every now and then, someone leaks things related to the upcoming game.

This time around the leaker revealed several crucial points regarding the gameplay and mechanics, such as:

  • Each level has several sub-zones
    • Each sub-zone has one primary and several secondary objectives for bonus XP
  • Operators have the same weapons as they do in Siege initially but levelling them up unlocks more loadouts
    • So far it seems that the weapons they can get are tied to their organisation or nation
      • For example, Finka can unlock Spetsnaz weapons, Ela can get Zofia's (GROM) guns
  • The test has crossplay, so it's possible it will be available at launch
  • British operators are not in the test build
  • Some new gadgets mimic the unique ones a few operators use
    • Body armour behaves like the upgrade Rook provides
    • Scanning grenades can ping enemies, like Lion's drone
    • Ammo satchel provides double the ammunition at start

Keep in mind that this is a leak from a test server so it's highly likely some of these things can change by the time R6 Parasite launches.
