The registrations for PUBG: New State closed alpha are set to start in just a few days. The closed alpha will be available only on Android and North America for the time being but global test is also coming in the near future.
PUBG devs have officially announced a closed alpha test for their brand new mobile experience named PUBG New State. The alpha for this mobile battle royale with futuristic elements will be available only in North America and only on Android devices for the time being.
Apparently, the game's current specifications and the network capabilities of potential regions are the reasons for keeping the alpha exclusive for North America and Android at this time.
The developers promise that those who own iOS devices will also get a chance to participate in the alpha very soon, but no specific dates were shared at the time of writing.
Registrations for the closed alpha test of PUBG: New State are set to kick off in just a few days according to the announcement, which suggests that you could sign up as soon as sometime this week.
The devs say that the feedback from this alpha test will help them optimise the game even further and hopefully, showcase it to a much wider audience globally on both iOS and Android.
If you are interested in PUBG: New State, you can pre-register for the closed alpha test via Google Play Store.
PUBG: New State is currently in development for iOS and Android and should officially launch sometime later this year.
