PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds mobile version has hit 600 million downloads it's been officially confirmed by the developer PUBG. Corp.

PUBG Mobile has been nothing but success for PUBG Corp. ever since its release back in February 2018. Judging by the company's plans for the PUBG Mobile Esports league in 2020, the growth will only continue as PUBG Mobile looks to become a serious Esports title.

The download numbers are also impressive. According to the latest data from PUBG Corp, PUBG Mobile has been downloaded more than 600 million times across the globe. This may come as a surprise to many but given that the game is free to play and extremely popular in Asia and India, these numbers are somewhat expected.

Furthermore, players don't have to spend money to play PUBG Mobile and the game is also very well optimised even for the weakest of PCs.

"600 million players from all over the world have downloaded PUBG MOBILE! A special thank you to all our players for your ongoing love & support we could not have done it without you," PUBG Corp thanked the players in their announcement.

PUBG Mobile reached 400 million users back in July 2018, meaning that the game got another 200 million players in just over a year, which shows just how impressive PUBG Mobile's growth has been recently.

When compared to its bigger brother, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, PUBG Mobile can be proud of its results. On PC and consoles, PUBG had 50 million players in July 2018, which is still a great player count but nowhere near PUBG Mobile.
