It looks like Krafton are set to announce a big Halloween event for PUBG Battlegrounds very soon. A couple of screenshots, showcasing the Halloween makeover have surfaced online.
Krafton's plans for PUBG content usually leak before the official announcement and their Halloween special has also dropped earlier. Courtesy of Twitter user laurawrr , here are several screenshots of the upcoming Halloween in-game event that PUBG players will get to experience in a couple of days.
As you can see, the screenshots show us one of the locations in the game, that will receive a full spooky, Halloween-themed makeover. The location in the screenshots seems to be the Hospital from the Erangel map.
We have not seen any other screenshots so it remains to be seen if the Halloween event will also be available on other maps. We doubt that will be the case but who knows, perhaps Krafton have something special in store.
Since Halloween is happening on October 31, 2021, it's safe to say that this event will be available over the weekend - probably starting on Friday 29, October or Saturday, October 30, 2021. Though this is just speculation on our end but the announcement should be coming in the next weeks.
PUBG is available now on PC and consoles. For more news about the PUBG franchise, check out the latest rumours which suggest that the next PUBG game, potentially PUBG 2, could be running on Unreal Engine 5.
