It's another weekend and Pokemon GO players can count on their favourite AR game to bring fun to the increasingly dreary days of September. This weekend, we'll have some fresh faces taking their first steps on the GO runway, a Community Day event for the ages and more. Read on to get the details:
Test your mettle in Pokemon GO
From Friday, September 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Take this opportunity to face Celesteela, the Launch Pokemon, in five-star raids occurring in the Southern Hemisphere. Make sure to hurry though, as the Launch Pokemon will only hang around until Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Kartana, the Drawn Sword Pokemon will appear in five-star raids in the Northern Hemisphere until Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Mega Raids
Today kicks off a fresh Mega Raid with Mega Aggron making its Pokemon GO debut. Make sure you swing by before Tuesday, September 27, 2022, for a chance to encounter this Pokemon's Shiny version.
Event Bonuses
Play Pokemon GO this weekend to get the following bonuses:
- Increased chance to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
- Increased Candy for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
