Microsoft have officially confirmed the date and time for their Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct, which go live on June 11, 2023. The publisher promises new surprises and first-looks from their internal studios.
Even though we already knew that the Xbox Games Showcase will air on June 11, 2023 thanks to Bethesda and their recent confirmation of Starfield Direct, Microsoft have officially announced the show today, with a couple of new details, or shall we say teases about what to expect from their biggest event of the year.
The Xbox blog post states that the Xbox Games Showcase will be live-streamed on June 11 at 10:00 AM PT and immediately after the showcase, we'll get the biggest yet Starfield live stream called Starfield Direct, where Todd Howard, wearing his leather jacket, will give us more details and gameplay about this highly anticipated Bethesda sci-fi RPG.
Xbox also gave us a subtle tease, stating that the showcase will feature "some new surprises and first-looks from our incredibly talented internal studios, and our many creative partners around the world".
Below, you'll find the links to official Xbox channels where the showcase will air on June 11.

Xbox Games Showcase 2023 local time zones
- PT: June 11 10 am
- ET: June 11, 1 pm
- BST: June 11, 6 pm
- CET: June 11, 7 pm

The show will also be live-streamed in over 30 languages, which is always great to see.
As for the games that could be making an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase, we'll that's becoming increasingly harder to predict because Xbox love to change the format of their show every year. Remember how they only had games coming out in the next 12 months last year? Well, we doubt that's going to happen again.
Personally, we'd love to see Obsidian's RPG Avowed and another gameplay demo of Hellblade 2. Also, a closer look at games like Perfect Dark and Everwild would be nice.
