Pearl Abyss have officially announced a closed beta test for their battle royale game Shadow Arena. The closed beta will run on Steam from 27 February to 8 March 2020.
Shadow Arena is a PvPvE battle royale Black Desert spin-off, which the developer Pearl Abyss recently announced along with their other upcoming games . Today, the devs announced that Shadow Arena will be available through a closed beta test from 27 February to 8 March 2020.
The closed beta will only be available on Steam and if you want to try it out, the sign-up form is now live on the game's official website. If you are lucky, the invitations should arrive before 25 February 2020. Those who take part in the beta test will get to try out nine new characters from the Black Desert Online universe.
For those who are not familiar with Black Desert spin-off, Shadow Arena, the game takes the popular MOBA genre and adds a new spin on the genre that draws from the game’s MMO roots. Players must fight against other 39 players on the battlefield, but also strategically use the resources of their environment.
On top of these, there are monsters to kill and chests to loot and gain buffs, as well as set up traps in order to outwit and outlast their opponents.
Shadow Arena will officially launch sometime in the first half of 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information about the game, check out the official website.
