Hi-Rez and Evil Mojo's shooter Paladins is getting a new champion and the two just rolled out the teaser trailer. The name is Corvus, The Magistrate's Blade, and we should be learning more in tomorrow's live stream.

"The latest Paladins Champion arrives soon: Corvus, The Magistrate's Blade! Cast out by his own father for bringing destruction upon his homeland, Corvus now fights to regain his position in the Magistrate", the video description reads.

Evil Mojo will be going into more details on the Darkness and Dragons update in a live stream that's scheduled for tomorrow, 1 April 2020 at 12pm ET / 4pm GMT, when you can expect more official data.

As for unofficial info on Corvus, data miners have dug up almost all there is to know about Paladins' new champion, or at least that's what most seem to be certain of.

First and foremost, data mines point at a support hero with 2,200 HP. Corvus wields a Machine Pistol that has 50 ammo and deals 70 damage every 0.07 seconds within 110 effective range.

His RMB ability heals other Paladins successively for 50, 75, 100 and 125 within a second, running on a 4s cooldown.

Corvus' Mark ability is where things get really interesting, as the mechanic heals a marked ally by 55 per cent of the amount of healing received by non-marked targets. Healing a marked ally directly, however, increases non-marked healing by 10 per cent and reduces the cooldown of RMB heal by 1 second.

Paladins' new champion also wields the Dagger on a 7-second cooldown that hits enemies for 400 damage. Otherwise, it will stick to the ground or wall.

As for Corvus' Ultimate, the data mines suggest he'll rise up in the air with 60 per cent damage reduction and crowd control immunity. Targeting the ground deals 1350 damage and leaves a pool that hits enemies for 300 damage every second, as well as slows them down by 50 per cent.
