Overwatch is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a bang. Three new skins and the event's start date have been revealed so far. A free weekend might also be in the works.
Overwatch's Anniversary event will kick off tomorrow, May 18, 2021, and go on until June 8, 2021. Even though we're sad that our prediction was off by a whole week (!) we are stoked about the new skins and emotes coming our way.

- Black Cat Sombra
- Venus Moira
- Funky Baptiste
We're sure the new skins we've seen so far are Legendary and don't think we'll have to wait long to see the new Epic offerings that will only be available to players who win nine matches in the Arcade modes.
The "Party on the payload" video that was shared on Twitter showed what might be a brand new emote for Tracer.
Overwatch's last free weekend took place in 2020 so it's not out of this world to assume that one is coming up pretty soon. No official news has been shared regarding the free weekend so take this with a grain of salt, but we wouldn't put it past Overwatch's devs to want everyone to join in the celebration.
