The biggest addition that will certainly excite many pet owners is the ability to adopt all sorts of alien creatures. Yes, with Companions update, players will get to adopt pets and even more than that. You'll get to raise cute babies, breed these creatures, train them to do chores, talk to them and even customise them. Here's the breakdown of the new features:

  • Raise Cute Babies
  • Breed Creatures
  • Trade Eggs
  • Customise your pets

  • Talk to your pet
  • Ride giant creatures

Now, that's a lot of activities for pet-loving players but if you're wondering if there's more in this big update, well, certainly there is. Hello Games confirm that No Man's Sky will now load much faster on PS4 and there's plenty of fauna and UI improvements.
