Capcom have released a big Monster Hunter World patch which includes various tweaks to Guild Cards, some weapons, skills. The developers also included a bunch of general bug fixes. The patch is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Just after releasing the new , which sees The Witcher 3's Geralt travel to Monster Hunter Universe for yet another contract, Capcom have released another update, but this time, it doesn't include any new content, instead, it tweaks a couple of things and fixes some bugs.

The new patch takes Monster Hunter World version to 6.0 and it weights around 1.72 GB on PlayStation 4 and 1.28 GB on Xbox One. It includes a fix to weapon attacks where a neutral attack would be performed when the player executed an attack with the left stick, and the attack button while the player character was in the middle of a turning animation.

Switch Axe bug where the damage bonus from Assassin's Hood specialised tool only applied on the first attack instead of all three attacks has been addressed.

Charge Blade also got some love. A bug where the visual and sound effect of the Condensed Element Slash would play during a Rising Slash is now fixed. The same goes for Insect Glaive bug, which prevented Quick Sheat skill from activating when sheathing the weapon while the Kinsect is flying.

Additionally, Capcom included a bunch of general bug fixes. A bug where a monster would be lured to a player's position instead of the location where a slinger was fired is now fixed. Also, the Speed Crawler effect, which was bugged in the update 5.21 for PS4 and 5.2.1.0 for Xbox One now works as intended.

The patch notes mention certain poses and expressions that cannot be selected when using a full armour set or layered armour related to the Horizon Zero Dawn or The Witcher 3 events. If you currently have those poses or expressions selected, they will revert back to the default "Crossed Arms" and "Expression 1".

There's a lot more included in the latest patch and for a detailed description of all tweaks, improvements and changes to Monster Hunter World, you can check on Capcom's website.
