Official box art for rumoured Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered have appeared online along with several in-game screenshots. EA have already teased the game reveal for today.
Need for Speed fans have been craving for Underground remaster for quite some time now but it looks like EA just do not have any interest in such release. You may say that 2015's Need for Speed was a spiritual successor to the Underground series but sadly, this instalment had a lot of issues and ultimately failed to reach a meaningful status in the popular franchise.
And while fans are still hoping to get a remaster of Underground, EA have different plans. The publisher are set to officially announce Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. A couple of days ago, EA teased the reveal in one of their tweets which showed numbers 5/10, hinting at a reveal on October 5, 2020, which is today.
Ahead of the official reveal, we have a leak which gives us a first look at the official box art for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The box art is identical to the original with the addition of Remastered subtitle. Check it out below.
The leak also includes a couple of screenshots but we could not really spot any difference between the remaster and the original since the photos are quite small. Also, we expect to see some minor improvements since this is just a remaster and not a remake.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered should be officially announced today. Stay tuned to Need for Speed Twitter for more info.
