Hyoung Nam, who is a Senior Concept Artist at Naughty Dog has shared a couple of artworks which are inspired by the studio's upcoming game, which is yet to be announced.
After another successful title in The Last of Us Part II, Naughty Dog are currently working on their brand new project and it looks like this one could be a new IP. Of course, this is yet to be officially confirmed by the studio and Sony but judging by the latest concept art, it looks like that Naughty Dog are indeed onto something new.
Senior Concept Artist at Naughty Dog Hyoung Nam has shared a couple of artworks inspired by the upcoming game. Over on ArtStation, Nam posted the images titled as "The Women of North". The images reveal a fantasy setting and one of the characters looks like a dark sorcerer or a shaman.
Nam also confirmed that these artworks are from a new game with a short description. "Inspire from new game. You know what I'm talking about," Nam teased.
At the moment, we do not have any additional details about Naughty Dog's new project but that should change as the development of the game is progressing. It's possible that we are getting another cinematic action-adventure, a genre that Sony have been pushing hard in the last-gen.
On the other hand, this could be a completely different game, potentially an open-world RPG of some kind. Of course, this is just speculation at the moment, so take it with a grain of salt.
