More Persona games are coming to Xbox Game Pass

Atlus West Instagram profile have accidentally shared the announcement trailers for the rumoured Persona 3 Remake and Persona 5 Tactica ahead of the official reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase.

A couple of weeks ago, we got some rumours regarding the unannounced remake of Persona 3 , which was supposedly set to be revealed at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2023 . Fast forward to today, and it looks like the rumour was indeed true as Atlus have ruined the big surprise for Persona fans, by prematurely revealing two new Persona games including the rumoured remake but also Persona 5 Tactica.

The two trailers briefly appeared on the official Instagram profile of Atlus West, the developer of this iconic RPG series, confirming the platforms, release date and Xbox Game Pass day-one launch.

As you can see in the image above, Persona 3 Reload is set to launch in Early 2024, across Xbox Series X|S , Xbox One and PC . The game is almost certainly launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 too but given that this is a trailer for the Xbox Showcase, it's understandable to not have the PlayStation logo there.

As for Persona 5 Tactica, this turn-based tactics RPG is coming on November 17, 2023, and will also launch on day one on Xbox Game Pass. Confirmed platforms are identical to Persona 3 Reload so you'll be able to play the game on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and probably PlayStation.

It's certainly a shame that both trailers got leaked ahead of the showcase as this would be a major surprise for all Xbox and Persona fans. But nonetheless, this is still a pretty big deal both for Atlus, who continue to consistently bring more Persona games but also Microsoft, who struck a great deal with the publisher to bring more Japanese games to Game Pass.

Xbox Games Showcase 2023 airs in a couple of days so make sure to tune in for more surprises and Game Pass announcements.
