A couple of days ago, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare received a major Season One update which introduced a fresh batch of content including new maps, operator and some Christmas decorations on Gunfight map Docks.
And while players are enjoying Gunfight under the Christmas lights, those who prefer Ground War have been left frustrated with the latest bug, which completely broke the matchmaking in Modern Warfare's biggest update.
The issue is that the maps no longer rotate between games. This means that if you start playing Krovnik Farmland in your first game, you will play that map until you leave the game and look for a new lobby with a different map. Previously, Ground War rotated maps after every game so you got to play every map.
We noticed the issue after two hours of Aniyah Palace and other players on Reddit are also reporting the same issues. At the moment, Infinity Ward are yet to respond to this issue. Hopefully, a quick hotfix will be deployed soon.
And while some players find the issue a bit frustrating, others claim that the actually like the new bug. "I actually like this more tbh, I rather play the same gw map over and over than play gw maps I don't like. And I only like two of them," one Reddit user wrote.
Jokes aside, one map can become pretty dull if you spend hours running around the same objectives and gunning down opponents in the same corridors no matter how much you prefer it over the others.
