The events in Metal Gear Survive pick up where Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes left off. Everyone is minding their own business, but then a worm hole opens up and sends a group of soldiers into a "hostile world where they look for answers while trying to survive in the harsh environment". You know, the in-your-face inciting incident.
Once in this new world, you'll have to Conan Exiles it up by securing food, water and shelter. You'll have to do all this while fighting off zombies that have had their heads replaced with red glowing crystals.
In case you missed the riveting video that showcases the game's single player campaign, you can catch up . Metal Gear Survive will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam), on 20 February in both Americas, and on 22 February for the rest of the world. Provided the beta goes smoothly and there are no hiccups along the way. Those come after launch.
