2K Games announced during the Marvel games showcase that Firaxis-developed turn-based RPG Marvel's Midnight Suns is now set to launch on December 2, 2022. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Since its announcement, Marvel's Midnight Suns was delayed a couple of times but it looks like the dev team are putting the finishing touches on this highly anticipated RPG.
Marvel's Midnight Suns is also available for pre-order but we suggest you wait for reviews before buying any game. You can always get it before the release since reviews usually drop a day or two before the launch.
In case you're not familiar with the game, Marvel's Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, putting you face-to-face against demonic forces of the underworld as you team up with and live among the Midnight Suns, Earth's last line of defence.
It's developed by tactical RPG masters Firaxis who brought us the beloved XCOM series and Civilisation V so it's safe to say that this upcoming Marvel title is in good hands.
As for the heroes, Firaxis confirmed earlier that Spider-Man, Captain America, Blade, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine, and The Hunter will be part of the main lineup. Whether or not the devs have more surprises in store, it remains to be seen but we're almost certain that more Marvel superheroes will be added in post-launch updates.
