Bioshock Infinite already gave us a small glimpse of what the snowy setting could look like

According to the most recent leaks, the next Bioshock game might be an open-world game based in Antarctica featuring a story with multiple endings.

The next Bioshock game is yet to be unveiled but it's been officially confirmed that 2K Games studio Cloud Chamber are currently working on the next instalment in this popular franchise.

While we don't have any official details, some leaks suggested that the game could have two cities and the most recent info dump from leaker Oops Leaks, reveal even more details about the game's setting and story.

The leaker reveals that the next Bioshock game might have an Antarctica setting and a story with multiple endings.

"I have received confirmation that the game will be based in Antarctica,"  the leaker tweeted.  "An open world with a main story that has multiple endings.".

Of course, you should take this information with a grain of salt since none of this is confirmed by official sources. It's just a rumour and nothing more at this point.

Furthermore, the info does not come from reliable industry sources, which is another reason not to get excited about it.

2K Games BioShock Infinite Bioshock Infinite is the last Bioshock game, released back in 2013. Since then, the franchise has somewhat forgotten by 2K

That being said, Oops Leaks have been spot on regarding the new Lollipop Chainsaw remake and The Last of Us Online so it's possible that they have the correct info once again.

Antarctica certainly sounds like a great setting for a Bioshock game but we're not quite sure about the open-world part given that Bioshock games are traditionally linear experiences.

But of course, that doesn't mean the Bioshock is not fit for an open world title and we're quite excited to see Cloud Chamber's vision for the next Bioshock.
