Civilization is a series of turn-based strategy video games that made their debut in 1991. Sid Meier created the first game in the series and has provided creative input for the majority of the others.
The last Civilization title came out in 2016, and now almost eight years later, Firaxis Games and 2K are releasing the latest entrant to the series, Civilization 7. The game was first revealed through a trailer at the Gamescom Opening Night Live. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The game is looking well optimised considering the game size remaining under 30 GB, which is a rare sight for modern AAA games. However, to run the game on higher presets would require players to break their bank by opting for a GPU with ray-tracing capabilities.
