Marvel Rivals has slowly evolved into one of the best hero shooter titles out there. Since its release last year, the game has managed to gain a loyal fan base due to constant updates and gameplay additions with each seasonal update.
Following the end of Season 3, NetEase is finally releasing the Season 4 update for Marvel Rivals. The Season 4 update for Marvel Rivals will feature the first flying Vanguard, Angela. Aside from that, there are loads of content scheduled to be added into the game slowly over the season. Here's a complete look at the roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 4.
Complete Season 4 Roadmap for Marvel Rivals
The Season 4 update for Marvel Rivals will be available across all platforms on September 12, 2025. Once the update goes live, here's what you can expect to see throughout the duration of Season 4:
September 12
Once the update goes live, the new hero Angela will be available for players to use in casual and competitive game modes. She's the first flying Vanguard of Marvel Rivals. Aside from that, the new Angela Skuld 2099 costume will also become available for purchase through the in-game store.
The new battle pass, Fruit of Immortality, will also be available for purchase across all platforms. NetEase is also adding new arcade game modes, Free Fight and Conquest (Annihilation), to the arcade matchmaking pool. Lastly, the first seasonal event, Scroll of the Immortal Beasts, will also go live on September 12.
September 19
Just a week after the seasonal update, players will get the second iteration of the Marvel Rivals Swimsuit and Summer Special Volume 2 event. This event will introduce the second set of swimsuit skins for select characters in the game.
September 26
On September 26, NetEase will release the new map, K'Un-Lun - Heart of Heaven. The new map was featured in the trailer showcasing Angela and Daredevil as the next characters for the season. Aside from that, this small update will also feature a new skin for Hela and new accessories for Magneto, Luna Snow, Scarlet Witch, and Cloak & Dagger.
October 3-10
On October 3, NetEase will add the Hellfire Protocol skin for Emma Frost. Now, on October 10, NetEase is planning to release the Season 4.5 update for Marvel Rivals, which includes the release of Daredevil as the newest Duelist, new events, and the other balancing changes.
Maintenance for the Season 4 update will begin on September 12 at 9 AM UTC and is expected to take approximately 2-3 hours. Please note that servers will be offline during this period, and the game will be inaccessible. The server return times may vary based on progress.
