Since its release, NetEase has been adding new characters to the game with every season. With season 3, we got the first X-Men duellist, Phoenix, and the iconic vampire hunter Blade. Now with the mid-season update, we will be getting our first flying Vanguard Angela.

When is Angela Coming Out in Marvel Rivals?

According to the Marvel Rivals Season 4 roadmap, the Season 4 update will go live on September 12, 2025. A new update always features a new character for the game, so players can expect to see Angela join the game on September 12.

Angela is one of the most awaited characters for all Marvel Rivals players. She is the game's first flying Vanguard. From all the game file leaks and intel, it has been confirmed that Blade will be a Vanguard with close-range fighting ability in Marvel Rivals.

Here's a look at Angela's moveset:

Primary Fire 1 - Spear of Ichors: Lunge forward with your spear, dealing damage that increases with Attack Charge. At full charge, Spear of Ichor can deal more damage and launch up enemies.
Primary Fire 2 – Axes of Ichors: Alternate powerful strikes forward with twin axes, dealing increased damage as Attack Charge grows. The fourth strike propels you forward in a swift dash.
Assassin's Charge: Enter an accelerated dash state, becoming immune to knockback and launch-up.
Shielded Stance (Right Click Ability): Transform Ichors into a shield, gaining Attack Charge when absorbing damage.
Seraphic Soar: Glide freely through the air. Continuous flying builds Attack Charge.
Heven's Retribution (Ultimate): Wrap your spear in ribbons and hurl it with force. Upon impact, the ribbons bind nearby enemies.
