The London philharmonic orchestra will be performing live from Abby Road studio at this year's livestream event for The Game Awards 2020, with Lorne Balfe as music director of the show.

We knew that Geoff Keighley is preparing another superb show for all of us. The Game Awards keeps getting better and better, and that man is not backing up even with the global pandemic ruining this whole year for everyone. He's just the best. That man loves video games so much, we all look ridiculous compared to him.

Today he announced (well, basically confirmed that we're in for a treat) that the London Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing live from London, from the most famous recording studio in the world - Abby Road Studios

The LPO will play music from the huge video games' OST catalog. So, act accordingly - prepare your headsets, soundbars, or any other hi-fi equipment that you prefer.

The nominees are going to be announced tomorrow, November 18. The day before PlayStation 5 officially launches for us in Europe and the rest of the world. Yay!

Taking place live on Thursday, December 10th, The Game Awards 2020 is a free digital Livestream event and will be available across more than 45 global video platforms.
