The summer split of 2022 has had fans heated up for the 2022 League of Legends World Championships. Now we get to know where the finals of this tournament will be held.

League of Legends Champions Korea, aka LCK, is the primary competition for League of Legends esports in South Korea. Contested by ten teams, the league runs two seasons per year and serves as a direct route to qualification for the annual League of Legends World Championship.

The format of the LCK playoff is simple. The teams that placed first and second, go on directly to the semifinals, while the third and sixth, and fourth and fifth battle it out in the quarters, o qualify for the semifinals.

The winners of the LCK semifinals will face off in the LCK finals on August 28, 2022. In this case, the LCK finals of 2022 will be hosted in the Gangneung arena, the same on that hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics.
