With the mid-season patch 14.10 closing in, League of Legends is preparing for some big Summoner spell adjustments.
As we move on from Ranked Split 1 to Ranked Split 2, Riot is revealing a few of the new updates that are looking to shake up the champion’s meta picks. Alongside the anticipated item and rune tweaks, Summoner spells are also getting a makeover, potentially reshaping the way the game is going to be played.
Summoner Spells that will be impacted by these are Exhaust, Cleanse, Barrier, Heal and Ghost. Here is everything you need to know about these incoming changes.
Exhaust
Exhaust is almost exclusively used by support champions and has a high pick rate in that role. Due to its high power, Riot decided to nerf it a bit.
- Duration: 15 seconds – 13 seconds
- Cooldown: 210 seconds – 240 seconds
Heal
Riot decided to slightly buff the Heal Summoner Spell. Players will be able to heal from a wider range.
- Heal range: 835 – 900
Cleanse
Cleanse is very useful against champions that has a lot of CC(crowd control). Therefore, this spell is mostly used by mid and ADC champions. So, Riot decided to increase spell cooldown and increase the tenacity Cleanse gives.
- Cooldown: 210 seconds – 240 seconds
- Tenacity: 65% - 75%
Ghost
Ghost is taken the most damage from the nerfs. Riot increased the spell’s cooldown and also decreased the duration of the spell.
- Duration: 15 seconds – 13 seconds
- Cooldown: 210 seconds – 240 seconds
Barrier
Barrier is one of the least picked Summoner Spells in the game. It’s mostly used by squishy champions that need a bonus shield to survive teamfighting. Here are all the Barrier changes.
- Duration: 2 seconds – 2.5 seconds
- Shield amount: 105-411 to 120-480
These were all the changes coming to Summoner Spells in League of Legends Patch 14.10!
