A tweet from Mark Yetter, a Riot Games employee, revealed the balance targets for patch 10.7. It seems like we will finally see the new, long-awaited Fiddlesticks come to the rift. Also, the recently reworked Wukong is getting some additional nerfs as well.
League of Legends' lead gameplay designer, Mark Yetter, took to Twitter to reveal some new balance targets for the upcoming 10.7 patch. The specific changes aren't out yet, but we have a brief overview of what the new patch might be bringing to the rift.
The list of champions that will receive buffs this patch is as follows:
- Nasus
- Galio
- Riven
- Ivern
- Akali
- Kai'sa
- Corki
- Xin Zhao
The Nasus changes were intended for the previous patch but they were later postponed as Riot couldn't fix all the initial bugs in time for the release. The Kai'sa buff could push her back into S tier, shoulder to shoulder with the lonely Miss Fortune in the current patch.
After she got gutted in the 10.3 patch, Akali will finally be seeing some love. To be fair, the buffs have to be pretty significant to raise her currently atrocious 43.01 per cent win rate, so let's all hope we don't get a placebo movement speed increase.
Champions that will receive nerfs this patch include:
- Wukong
- Nocturne (mid)
- Garen
Wukong still has a pretty good win rate across all ranks even after the hotfix, but we didn't expect a nerf coming this soon. His ability to win almost any lane matchup in addition to his overall team fight potential seems a bit overpowered at the moment as it offers very low counterplay.
The new, reworked Fiddlesticks will finally join the live servers in this patch and we will probably be seeing him across all roles at first, just like any other new or reworked champion. His overall kit seems pretty stacked and a lot stronger than his previous version.
