League of Legends Season 2025 saw a complete overhaul of the Mythic Content. This included the removal of Gemstones and Prestige points, and the introduction of Mythic Essence. The Mythic Shop now offers players the chance to buy Prestige Edition skins, Hextech skins, and Mythic skins. These skins will be available on a rotating monthly basis.
Riot Games has been making a number of updates to the Mythic Shop with the goal of making it a destination for exciting, exclusive content. Building off of their previous announcements, League of Legends aim to refine the shop's offerings to focus on premium items while phasing out less desirable options.
Riot's Mythic Shop is an exciting addition to the game, offering players the opportunity to acquire highly sought-after skins. With the introduction of Mythic Essence, players will need to adjust their approach to accumulating in-game currency to ensure they have enough to take advantage of the new offerings in the Mythic Shop.
Acquiring Mythic Essence
Similar to Gemstones and Prestige Points, Mythic Essence is earned through gameplay. Saving up these valuable currencies is crucial for unlocking some of the rarest skins in the game.
