DRX players are choosing their League of Legends Worlds 2022 skin line! Riot Games allow the winning team to choose team skins. The champions the players are deciding on were revealed in a press conference.
Ashley Kang tweeted them out:
- Kingen (TOP): Aatrox
- Pyosik (JGL): Kindred
- Zeka (MID): Akali/Sylas
- Deft (ADC): Caitlyn
- BeryL (SUP): Ashe
- Juhan (SUB): Maokai/Lee Sin
Aatrox makes sense for Kingen, given his Finals Game 4 and 5 performance against the champion. Pyosik has been known to be a Kindred one-trick pony when he first entered the professional league scene, so this is also to be anticipated.
Considering that Ezreal is his signature champion and the one he has played in the tournament, Deft's choice of Caitlyn looks odd. The decision might have just been made as a result of Caitlyn and the Finals team winning Game 5.
BeryL is going after Ashe and has also given Riot a design suggestion. Zeka mentioned the Akali, although he is still debating between choosing an Akali or Sylas skin.
Ashe should resemble a character from Honkai Impact 3rd, according to BeryL. It's been a part of BeryL's reputation as a player to leap headfirst into these games.
He is also really skilled at League of Legends, which helps. Juhan only played Maokai and Lee Sin during the tournament, therefore one of those two is most likely to be his skin.
