With the year's League of Legends World Championship just around the corner, one of the most hyped aspects of the tournament is, of course, the release of the official Worlds song.
Every year, Riot launches a song that captures just how heated and exciting the tournament is, along with special events to go with in-game skins. It's a tradition that started back in 2014 with Imagine Dragons' hit "Warriors," and ever since, fans eagerly await the next iconic tune.
Linkin Park is one of the most influential rock bands in modern history, responsible for hits such as "Numb," "In The End," and "Breaking The Habit." The band was formed in 1996 and experienced immense tragedy with the death of their lead vocalist, Chester Bennington, in 2017.
After a hiatus, the band is back in 2023 with a new lead vocalist, Emily Armstrong, and has announced a new album titled From Zero, which is set to release in 2024. One of the songs, "Heavy Is The Crown," is said to be this year's Worlds song.
The good news is that fans won't have to wait too long to find it out because Riot Games has confirmed, which should be at the end of September.
