In order to participate in the Clash tournament, players must be level 30. Also, they will need to complete their ranked placements and verify their League accounts via SMS!
Clash is a competition that enables groups of pre-made teams to take part in an 8 or 16-team contest and win rewards. Simply participating guarantees a prize, with additional rewards for each game won. Teams are matched with others of similar ability levels.
League of Legends Clash games take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with each team playing three games regardless of winning or losing. Winning all three games results in the team earning the trophy and more prizes. Teams are only allowed to enter one Clash contest per day, but they can participate on both Saturday and Sunday.
Essentially, this is a tournament where players form teams to compete. Riot has currently only disclosed the timetable for the initial Clash events in 2023. This is the information that has been made public at this time.
