In spite of close to abysmal player numbers, Boss Key Productions will continue to support and add new content to LawBreakers. A roadmap for the project will be published sometime during this week. All future content for the game will be free.

LawBreakers is in a bit of a tight spot right now. The game currently averages around 400 daily players according to , and the player number graph since launch paints a troubling picture.

Whether it's due to being perceived as direct competition to Overwatch, or accidentally releasing during the same year that the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds phenomenon hit Steam - LawBreakers is in for a long winter.

Cliffy B said on several occasions that the game is in for a marathon, not a sprint. A roadmap detailing the first few miles of that marathon is due to be announced to a sort-of-but-not-really interested gaming scene sometime this week.

LawBreakers is set to receive new maps, features, a ranked league along with sneak peeks at an upcoming new character and several rapid fire features, which probably refers to minor updates and/or quality of life improvements.

The updates are scheduled for release in the order in which they are presented in the tweet above, so it's going to be quite a busy quarter for Boss Key Productions.

Whether stamina will proove to be decisive for the title in the long run still remains to be seen. AltChar has spent some time with LawBreakers during beta, and we can safely say there is nothing quite like it out there right now. Why the game still isn't quite performing is anybody's best guess, but the misplaced Overwatch comparissons surely didn't help.
